Because Im leaving for school tmw, today was the day I pack up my bikes.
Ebay, amazon prime, craigslist and the bravarian buzz saw are now sleeping quietly until I get back.
Im going to miss them.

this one of those things where you’re not allowed to have a vehicle on campus?

Bummer.
You’re still coming tonight, right?

You can. But a combination of HORRIBLE campus services for bikes, getting in trouble for it last year, and parents, its just not worth the hassle

Yep. I ll be on the buzzsaw (she escaped this cruel fate, as dad might still be riding)

Nice. Since you’re riding a BMW, be sure to not use your turnsignal.
Wait. If you combine automotive stereotypes, is a BMW motorcycle rider the worst kind of driver?

BMW riders are usually middle aged dudes on a GS at starbucks.

So you’ll be buying all of us Starbucks, right?

Idk if the sterotype is different in Canada, but the GS riders hete are the most hardcore cyclists you meet. They put 30k miles on a bike in a year and act like it’s nothing.

Its very different. GS guys here are some of the biggest wusses you will encounter.
The KLR crew on the other hand...

That’s unfortunate. I couldn’t have done college without my bike*. Our campus was really motorcycle friendly with a lot of parking spaces close to the buildings, and several in the center of campus where cars couldn’t park, and cheap parking passes. That was at least until my senior year when they decided to ban ATV’s from motorcycle spots (a reasonable idea, but it wasn’t a problem to begin with) and instead allow the horde of horrible scooter riders to park haphazardly all over the motorcycle spots, without the requirement of a parking pass (which motorcyclists still had to purchase) and no fear of tickets due to bad parking (because no passes). That and they closed motorcycle parking spots on set days regardless of whether or not there was snow on the ground.
*That’s an exaggeration, but it made things much much nicer. We lived far enough off campus that it saved a ton of money on gas, and parking passes, plus it was awesome, and riding around checking out girls with my roommates was always a good time.
